Family and School Partnership
In order to ensure that your child is receiving the best support during their academic career it is important that we create a school and family partnership. In an idea world we would conduct Parent-Teacher Conferences where we would meet two or three times a semester and discuss the progress of your child. We would focus on the areas where your child is doing well and what areas they could improve at. In the real world parents may work different shift where they can’t attend conference nights or that they may have obligations that prevent them from making time to be at the conferences. This is where we as teachers and administrators reach out and use the various methods of communication to create channels were we can reach out and connect with each other to make sure we’re doing the best for your student. For those who can’t meet in person we offer contact via phone, e-mail, video chat and old fashion snail mail. In the not to distant future contact will just be an app away here you can communicate through your smartphone or tablet.
